If fuel manifolds become contaminated withbacterial growth, clogged fuel injectors may spray unevenly, causing the engines to run hotter. These clogged fuel nozzles can have a long term negative impact on power output and engine operating efficiency. Also fuel that is contaminated with microbes can clog both the aircraft engines’ low and high pressure filters.  If that happens, you should in a timely manner, to avoid long term impact.
