I wanted to touch a bit on older aircraft as these are what inspired me to write this article.  I had a client referred to me that was purchasing a 1969 Lear 24B.  He said he had contacted several aircraft insurance brokers and all had said that only liability coverage was available but no hull.  This client could not afford to self insure the hull.  So I asked about the aircraft.  I found out it was a low time airframe, had low time engines and an excellent maintenance history.  Upon disclosing this information to several underwriters, I was able to come up with a quote that included hull coverage.  I touched on this in my last article; make sure your agent is asking questions and putting your risk together properly.  Ask to see the quote they are going to send to the markets and be comfortable with how they are representing you and your aircraft.  If you are not comfortable, find another agent.

The job of the aircraft insurance agent is to help place your risk.  Sometimes we need to go well beyond just submitting quote request and helping solve the fears that some underwriters may have. Find a training program, find parts availability; look into an aircraft’s history and maintenance and know who to present your risk.  Knowing you, your aircraft, the market and the underwriters taste is the aviation insurance agent’s job.

Today there’s so many choices for a Remote Helicopter that choosing the right one is confusing for the beginner just getting started. The good news is these choices can tailor a RC helicopter to the pilots skill level and preference of flying indoors and or outdoors.

For the sake of learning to fly a rc Helicopter, only 4+ channel rc helicopters will be recommended. A true hobby grade remote control helicopter will have a swashplate. A swashplate takes the input from the pilot via servos ( small electric motors) and transfers that signal to move the swashplate from side to side or forward and back. There Is Only One Thing I Don’t Like About the American Airlines AppA while back a new app was introduced to iOS devices from American Airlines. It’s a very well done and tasteful app in my opinion. Most of the features of the app are expected, such as checking upcoming flight schedules, checking frequent flyer miles and even booking new flights. You get details like flight changes and Push notification for things like gate changes and departure times. It’s all pretty neat! But all the other apps out there offer these same features. What is different about the American Airlines app is how it allows you to do things like let you place yourself on an upgrade or standby list, watch your Elite status and even allow you to obtain an electronic boarding pass. Only native airlines can offer these perks. One added feature they included was an AA Sudoku game. That is something that will reach the public at a whole new level. Usually, any other company wouldn’t think to add a game to play in their app when businessmen and women have extra time to kill. It is for sure a great idea. If you forget where you parked your car on trips, the app allows you to take a picture of it to remind you. This application developer understands the way work travel is!
There Is Only One Thing I’m Not Crazy About
It’s a problem that can’t be fixed by American Airlines and it’s kind of an important issue. The app isn’t made through Delta airlines (just kidding), this application is superb!
