The U.S. Congress had already voted in early March an easing of restrictions on travel to Cuba for Cuban Americans, allowing them to go there once a year instead of once every three years and spend every day up to $ 179, against $ 50 earlier. President Barack Obama has taken a step further by allowing Cuban Americans to travel and transfer funds to the communist island indefinitely.
